Charlotte Ruiz

Charlotte Ruiz, 101, of Banning Ca, left us on March 27, 2024. In her younger years she worked in the orchards in Banning, and would later marry her life long husband Peter Ruiz. She worked for over 50 years in housekeeping, in the Palm Springs area, until she moved back to the reservation, with her husband in 1984. She would remain there, until her passing.

She is survived by daughters, Charlene Seeley, Janice Flowers and Marian Ruiz. Sons Theron Ruiz and Doug Ruiz. Daughter in law Joanna Ruiz. 18 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Peter Ruiz, her mother Marinciana Sabachio Lyons, father William Lyons, Sisters Vivian Leo Salgado, Dominga Toro and Florence Torres. Brothers Florian Lyons, Fernando Checkie Lyons and William Lyons Jr. Sons, Wesley Ruiz and Norman Ruiz. Daughter Elaine Bova, 3 grandsons and 1 great grandson.
